The workplace comedy follows a group of teachers at a Philadelphia public school. An imbalanced student-to-staff ratio, underfunding, and an eccentric principal are just a few of the obstacles facing the educators at Abbott Elementary, but Janine Teagues is determined to keep things afloat and help her students achieve success.

Creator Quinta Brunson stars as quirky and tenacious second-grade teacher Janine Teagues. She’s joined by an ensemble cast featuring Tyler James Williams, Janelle James, Chris Perfetti, Lisa Ann Walter, and Sheryl Lee Ralph. Ralph recently won an Emmy for her role in the series.
Season two of “Abbott Elementary” is highly anticipated by fans, and will have nine more episodes than its first season. The series is executive produced by Quinta Brunson, Randall Einhorn (“The Office”), and Patrick Schumacker (“Harley Quinn”).
How to watch ‘Abbott Elementary’
You can watch “Abbott Elementary” season two every Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. You can also stream new episodes on Hulu at 3 a.m. ET the morning after they premiere on TV. If you want to catch up on season one of the show, you can stream every episode on Hulu or HBO Max.
Hulu’s ad-supported plan costs $7 a month, but a $1 price increase is coming in October. Meanwhile, Hulu’s ad-free plan is $13 a month, but will increase to $15/month in October.
The Hulu app is available on most mobile devices, media players, and smart TVs from major brands. Check the Hulu website to confirm your device is supported.
If you already have the ABC network as part of your cable plan, you can also stream new episodes of “Abbott Elementary” through the ABC app or ABC website. You’ll need to input your pay-TV account information to watch.
If you don’t have cable, you can check out “Abbott Elementary” as it airs on ABC through a live TV streaming service, like Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, or FuboTV. Full channel lineups vary and regular starting prices range from $65 to $70 a month.

Can I watch ‘Abbott Elementary’ for free?
You can watch “Abbott Elementary” for free if you sign up for a Hulu trial. Hulu currently offers new subscribers one month of streaming for free.
Keep in mind, however, that “Abbott Elementary” is an ongoing series and season two episodes are expected to air through May 2023. You’ll only be able to watch the show for free during the 30-day period of your trial, so you’ll have to wait several months to sign up if you want to stream the entire second season without paying.
Episodes of “Abbott Elementary” are also available to watch on TV as they air with no fee if you purchase an HD antenna and have broadcast reception of ABC in your area.
