Halloween is right around the corner, and for many folks, that means parties, elaborate decor, and trick-or-treaters. Just like the 4th of July though, for pets, this spooky holiday is not quite as fun. Many dogs and cats get severely nervous and scared from constant knocks, interactive Halloween decor that may look like living things, and overcrowded costume parties.
If you love your pets (and obviously you do), this can be quite heartbreaking to watch. This is especially the case because there really is not much you can do besides try and comfort them—even keeping your dark to discourage jovial kids from knocking for candy isn’t a foolproof plan.
