NEW YORK – Several people were injured Thursday afternoon when a NYPD patrol vehicle veered off the road and onto a sidewalk.
The crash occurred in the Bronx, near the intersection of Hoe Avenue and Westchester Avenue.
According to WNBC, citing sources, the ‘car was responding to a reported larceny when it was cut off in traffic; the driver swerved and hit the pedestrians.’
At least 10 people were injured — 5 with serious or critical injures, the report said.
An investigation is underway.
