A third person has been arrested after a man was shot dead in the front garden of a home, while two suspects are still on the run.
The 30-year-old East Brisbane man was arrested by police on Friday night after he was stopped in a vehicle at Riverview.
The man has been charged with manslaughter and is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Saturday.
Officers also seized items of importance to the homicide investigation after two search warrants were executed on Friday night.
It comes after a 38-year-old Inala man was allegedly shot dead in the front garden of a home on Cliveden Avenue in south Brisbane in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
In the current preliminary investigations, police (above, on scene) believe five people descended on a home in Brisbane in the early hours of Tuesday morning and pumped a single shotgun shell into the chest of a 38-year-old man in a suburban front garden.

Another man and woman are already in custody and have not yet been charged.
Police confirmed on Saturday that they were still looking for two male suspects.
Detective Sergeant Andrew Massingham initially alleged that four men and a woman armed with a 12-gauge shotgun and potentially a handgun were involved in the attack.
“The deceased man was hit at very close range and we believe the weapon involved was a 12-gauge shotgun,” he said Tuesday.
Det Supt Massingham alleged the man had been sitting in a car outside a home when five people appeared and began assaulting another man who lived on the premises.
The 38-year-old got out of his car and started running to help the man when he was allegedly shot.
Police were investigating a dispute between the two men and the five suspects one to two weeks before the shooting.
“There was certainly significant conflict amongst the whole group,” Det Supt Massingham said.
The dispute was not related to a series of recent gangland shootings in the city’s south, he added.
Two major suspects are behind bars for the brutal early morning execution of another man as a spectacular vehicle fire was linked to the killing
The shooting happened across the road from Corinda State School less than six hours before hundreds of students were due to return to class after the school holidays.
A kindergarten and childcare center are also located on the same block in the quiet, mostly residential suburb.
Police urged anyone with information about the man’s death to contact Policelink or make an anonymous report through Crime Stoppers.

Detective Constable Andrew Massingham said a 26-year-old woman was the first to be arrested in Brisbane’s CBD on the day of the shooting.
Then on Wednesday around 11pm, a 26-year-old man was arrested at a house in the south-east Brisbane suburb of Mackenzie.
A further four men and two women were arrested at the Mackenzie house, which contained a ‘sophisticated’ meth lab.
Whether the shooting was drug-related is one of the current lines of investigation.
Investigations continue.
