According to the site, Jay-Z’s company is requesting all financial books and records, in addition to the location of all warehouses that store barrels, bottles and accessories for the brandy brand.
They also want all relevant information about Bacardi’s physical inventory and inventory process.
It remains unclear why Jay-Z and partners are continuing this process, but it is clear that there is mistrust in the business partnership.

TMZ notes that one of the statements in the legal documents is very interesting, as it states that SC Liquor says it is “the behavior of [Bacardi’s] to protect SC’s rights as a partner in the business.
Jay-Z and Bacardi have been collaborating on D’Usse since 2011.
He regularly checks the brand in his songs and in 2014 even poured some of the brandy into one of his Grammys and drank it to promote it.

Meanwhile, earlier this month, the 99 Problems rapper was featured in outtakes from Beyonce’s Club Renaissance Paris celebration in collaboration with Tiffany & Co. earlier this month.
The 41-year-old megastar stunned in a silver ensemble as she posed in an elevator with her husband while donning a sporty oversized jacket.
The Break My Soul singer captioned her loyal legion of followers: “CLUB RENAISSANCE Paris with partner @tiffanyandco.”
She then added hashtags, “#TiffanyAndCo #CLUBRENAISSANCE.”
