During Red Table Talk, the couple, who have since forged a strong friendship, shared how an awkward incident about Trey’s behavior led to an argument.

Jada said, “I can remember a few times when I actually crossed the line. There was one time when Trey had a play date and he misbehaved. I was like, “Uh uh, we need to sit down, we need to talk about this, Trey can’t act like this.”
Sheree replied, “Let me give you my version. I literally walked into the house to drop him off and as soon as I entered, Jada said, “We need to talk about his behavior!”
“I was like, ‘Please go get his father. Why are you talking about what’s happening at my house, here?” His behavior was at my house.’
Jada said, “It was a lot of intertwining and it got a little messy,” while Sheree labeled her behavior “out of the box.”

Sheree also acknowledged that Jada “meant no harm” with her comment, adding, “My only requirement was that you treat my son well. You did and your heart was always right on him and wanted the best for him.’
Actress Sheree also explained how her behavior sometimes became “embarrassing” and revealed how she entered Jada and Will’s bedroom uninvited to check out the set.
Jada said, “You looked around… you wanted to see what was going on, how it was decorated and all that. It was early and I think you thought, “I just want you to know that Queen Bee is around here.”‘
Jada added: “I was like, well, damn, she’s got the house sorted out, I can’t say anything. We were very fiery.’
Jada also revealed that she had a misconception that she would be “done” with Sheree after her and Will’s divorce – before accepting that Sheree would always be part of their family.

Scream 2 actress Jada said afterwards that she “would have taken a beat” before getting involved in Will and Sheree’s relationship amid their “public and fresh” split.
Sheree said, “But when you got it, I remember you came to me — and you were in tears, you were very emotional, and you said, ‘I just didn’t know’.”
“Basically, what you said was, ‘I was in the picture too early.’ And you apologized for that.’
Jada continued, “My philosophy has always been, how can I love Trey and not the most important person in his life, which is his mother? That is not possible. … it was certainly quite a collaboration.’
Will and Jada, 50, tied the knot in 1997 and share son Jaden, 24, and daughter Willow, 21.
Sheree was later asked by Jana Kramer what she thought of Jada getting “the better version” of Will.
Sheree said, “I think when our union ends, he should be better thanks to me. He should be better. So it might hurt to see you with the better version, but he shouldn’t be worse because he’s been with me.
‘I think I left too early at this stage of my life. That was part of me trying to protect myself. If I was in another time, I’d never leave so quickly, I’d work on it.’
The star said she and Will are better at co-parenting than they were as a couple, with Jada joking that the trio isn’t a “throuple” after revealing that Sheree and Will are going on vacation with his relatives and without her. .
