Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray and head coach Kliff Kingsbury got into a heated sideline exchange in the win over the New Orleans Saints on Thursday, though both played down the altercation with reporters during post-game press conferences.
“We’re good,” Murray said.
Thursday Night Football viewers can be forgiven for thinking otherwise, especially after announcer Al Michaels said Murray ‘barked’ in Kingsbury.
The former Heisman Trophy winner was seen twice yelling at Kingsbury to ‘calm the shit out’ after the Cardinals Coach called a panicky time-out in the second quarter of the 42-34 win.
“The clock was running out and we couldn’t get rid of the play we were trying to play,” Murray told reporters. “So it was, I guess it’s my fault. I’ll take it.’

Murray played pretty well on Monday, completing 20 of 29 passes for 204 yards and a touchdown, while adding another 30 yards on seven carries. Most importantly, he made 10 contact with Hopkins for 104 yards as the Cardinals broke an eight-game home loss streak.
Thursday’s game tied the knot at 2 p.m. until Saints quarterback Andy Dalton threw a pair of interceptions that were both returned for touchdowns.
