“We’ve had to deal with more discouraging and more difficult experiences in life. We knew we had each other’s backs no matter what,” the social worker said women’s Day.
Sarah-Jane added that she and Tom had “prepared us for a very emotional and exhausting experience.”
“When you’re constantly stressed, you take it out on the one you love the most. Well, I do,” she admitted.

Their quarrel started when the team decided to use a 120 sqm space instead of a 30 sqm room that was needed.

“There are a few hurdles that keep popping up, such as labor shortages and the wrong roof sheets for the walls,” Tom told the producers.
“Let’s be realistic, unfortunately these houses are not finished.”
Sarah-Jane also called out her husband for “complaining” too much.

“He’s snapping at me, he doesn’t have time for me and he’s been doing it for the past two weeks and I don’t have it anymore, so I left.”
The pair were then seen arguing over picking up three wine barrels, despite only needing one for the room they were working on.

She later said Tom “made her feel like a cunt,” before telling the producers, “I’m just tired of Tom distracting it from the fact that he can be a jerk and it’s always just anyone.”
“Honey, I wasn’t an asshole,” Tom snapped back.
“I tell him how I feel and his answer is, ‘Well, find a new husband,’” she said.
