Miller reportedly filmed reshoots for The Flash last week, and the script for the sequel sequel is already in the works, MovieWeb reported.
Earlier this month, Miller appeared in the Vermont Supreme Court, where he pleaded not guilty to stealing three bottles of alcohol from their neighbor’s property in Vermont.
Miller was told to stay away from neighbor Isaac Winokur and faces 26 years in prison if found guilty of the charges, as well as more than $2,000 in fines.
They are accused of taking a bottle of gin, vodka and rum from Winokur’s pantry around 5pm on May 1.
The charges are the latest in a string of legal troubles for the actor.
The Fantastic Beasts star was dragged to a meeting with Warner Bros bosses because his ongoing public troubles put the already-delayed $250 million film in jeopardy.
Some verified insiders posted their speculations on Twitter this week, while others say nothing is set in stone until after The Flash hits its 2023 release date.
An artist on Instagram @Clements.Ink shared a piece of fan art with MacKay replacing Miller as The Flash.
The 1917 star is depicted in a costume very similar to one of the costumes Grant Gustin wore in The Flash TV series on The CW.
Despite mounting rumors, it is not known whether DC and Warner Bros. have cut ties with the actor, as Miller reportedly filmed reshoots for The Flash last week, and the script for the sequel sequel is already in the works, MovieWeb reported.

Miller was arrested twice this year in Hawaii, including for disorderly conduct and harassment at a karaoke bar.
Also this year, the parents of 18-year-old Tokata Iron Eyes, a Native American activist, filed a protection order against Miller, accusing the actor of inappropriate behavior towards her as a minor from the age of 12.
Her parents accused Miller of taking care of their child and other inappropriate behavior with her as a minor from the age of 12 – which is disputed by Tokota.

A Massachusetts mother received a temporary protection order against Miller in June on behalf of the woman’s 12-year-old child.
It was awarded after the judge determined that the child had “significant likelihood of imminent threat of harassment.”
A mother of three and her young children have also moved into their Vermont ranch, which is reportedly stocked with guns and copious amounts of marijuana.
The father of the children claims that the 25-year-old mother left their island in Hawaii with Miller in April and took the children without his permission.
April video, obtained by Rolling Stone, reportedly showed at least eight assault weapons, rifles and pistols lying in the living room.
A revelation also claimed they ran a secret harem from his Vermont ranch, a recent exposé of the actor’s arrests – a de facto convent where the star impersonated a Jesus figure over a group of women – has shown.
Miller was charged with burglary in Vermont and earlier this year charged with disorderly conduct and harassment at a karaoke bar after two arrests in Hawaii in March
Miller, who uses she/she pronouns, was arrested twice in Hawaii in March and charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree assault.
They were charged with yelling and swearing at customers while singing karaoke at a Hilo bar, as well as snatching a microphone from a 23-year-old woman.
In a court hearing for the incident, they pleaded not to charge any charges of disorderly conduct and paid a $500 fine.
A married couple had issued a restraining order against them after Miller stormed into their bedroom and threatened to kill them, after which she stole her passport and his wallet.
In April, the star was accused of throwing a chair at a 26-year-old woman and hitting her at a private party in Pahoa.
A video of Miller appearing to be strangling a woman in a bar in Reykjavik, Iceland, also surfaced in April 2020, but did not lead to charges.

In August, Miller announced they were seeking treatment for “complex mental health issues” after Hollywood bosses were forced to rethink their future in DC’s cinematic universe.
They said in a statement: ‘Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I suffer from complex mental health issues and have started treatment’
“I want to apologize to everyone I have alarmed and upset about my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to return to a healthy, safe and productive phase in my life.”
