Atlanta’s mascot, Freddie Falcon, was bizarrely trying to fight a child when it came up against him after being tackled during a halftime pee match.
The Atlanta area mascots played a supposedly friendly against the Atlanta Colts pee wee football team on Sunday during halftime of the Falcons defeat to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Although the mascots ended up suffering a stunning defeat at the hands of the kids, it didn’t stop anyone from giving their all.

You saw Freddie Falcon sprint after the kid before knocking him to the ground.
The player, clearly confused and excited, knocked the football to the ground before getting back to his feet.
However, the mascot approached the player, seemingly standing up and taunted him before pushing him.
The player tripped before hitting back and hitting the mascot in the face with the ball, leading to a fight between the two as they began to push each other back and forth.

After the referee separated the furious players from the mascot, Freddie Falcon appeared to celebrate his goal as he raced away triumphantly with his arm – or rather wing – in the air.
It is unclear whether it was a joke or whether Freddie Falcon was trying to be called up to play a corner.
The Falcons suffered a brutal defeat, as they were already 28-17 behind halftime and then lost 35-17 to Joe Burrow and Co.

Burrow threw 481 yards and three touchdowns as the Cincinnati Bengals jumped to a big lead, beating the visiting Falcons on Sunday.

Cincinnati remained level with the Baltimore Ravens at the top of the AFC North standings.
The Falcons, who entered the week 27th in the NFL by allowing 385.2 yards per game, were further hampered when they lost starting cornerback AJ Terrell to a hamstring injury in the first quarter.
