Now their two children Junior (17) and Princess (15) want to follow ‘100 per cent’ in the footsteps of their famous parents by going to the same ITV show.
Despite Junior embarking on a music career and his sister still in school, they joked that they “came from the jungle” and hope they get a chance to be on the hit show.

Junior told Subway: ‘I think we should do that! To represent! We came from the jungle, didn’t we?’
Princess said of the stint, “That’s something I really want to do. It would actually be good to continue there, knowing that both our parents were there, that’s how they got to know each other.’
Junior added: “And the show is so great, it’s been going on for so long, so to be able to do that would actually be a really big achievement.”

Singer Peter and glamor model Katie (then known as Jordan) found love on I’m A Celebrity.
They married a year after leaving the show in a lavish princess-themed wedding at the grand Highclere Castle, which would later become famous as the setting for the historical drama Downton Abbey.
However, the romance did not last long and after welcoming two children, the couple divorced in 2009 after more than four years of marriage.

Peter later married doctor Emily MacDonagh and they now have two children together, daughter Amelia and son Theordore.

“I was just fixated on Pete. People saw our relationship develop,” Katie said.

“Having Pete out there in the jungle made it easier because you’d fall asleep thinking about him and wake up seeing him there.
‘If you didn’t click with someone in there, I think it’s pretty heavy and lonely. “It was a real love story and I think me and Pete are the only ones who have had children.”
The reality star was then shown images of herself on the show in which she spoke about her growing feelings for the singer.
She said, “I get on really well with Pete, he’d be the type of guy I’d go for, but I have a boyfriend.”
Presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly watched the same clip in a home theater with Ant admitting: ‘She had a boyfriend – I forgot about that’.
Katie was in a relationship with Scott Sullivan at the time, but said, “I know he’s not the one,” after breaking up with Pete.
Recalling the public interest in Katie and Peter’s romance, Ant said, “People like a romance, they like a love story and it developed as the series progressed.”
Katie had several failed marriages but believes Carl Woods, former Love Island star, is the one.
She is also the mother of son Harvey from her relationship with Dwight Yorke and Jett and daughter Bunny with estranged husband Kieran Hayler.
