OKLAHOMA – Eight people were found dead following a house fire in the city of Broken Arrow, Okla. on Thursday, police said.
A homicide investigation is underway.
“[We] can confirm 8 dead at a house in the 400 block of S Hickory Avenue,” the department said in a statement. “BAPD continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. It is a complex scene given the state of the house due to the fire damage. We do not currently believe there is an immediate threat to the public.”
The incident remains under investigation. No further details were available.
