Armed Indiana residents beating would-be robbers who broke into apartment wearing black ski mask

Police said the men told them the 18-year-old broke into the apartment while wearing a ski mask and pointing a gun.
They thwarted Tyler’s hopes of robbing them by plunging him and knocking the gun he was holding out of his hands before pinning him to the ground.

A wannabe robber was thwarted by a group of residents of the Indiana apartment he attempted to steal before they stopped him from getting away with their own firearms.

After being hospitalized, the teenage bandit was sent to Howard County Criminal Justice Center
Tyler then tried to draw a second gun, according to… Fox 59 and even fired it, but no one was injured.
One of the residents was able to grab his own gun and use it to stop Tyler and keep him there until the police arrived.
Both the victims and Tyler suffered multiple facial injuries. Tyler’s were the only ones that were so bad they had to be hospitalized.
After being hospitalized, the teenage bandit was sent to Howard County Criminal Justice Center.
He was arrested shortly afterwards on a level two felony charge of burglary, carrying a three to seven year sentence in Indiana if convicted.
Police are still investigating and are asking anyone who may have more information to come forward.
