Twitter’s new owner on Tuesday indicated the social media giant will soon charge users $8.00 per month for a blue verification badge.
“Twitter’s current lords & peasants system for who has or doesn’t have a blue checkmark is bullshit,” Elon Musk tweeted. “Power to the people! Blue for $8/month.”
Musk says the new price for a checkmark will vary from country-to-country, “proportionate to purchasing power parity.”
You will also get:
– Priority in replies, mentions & search, which is essential to defeat spam/scam
– Ability to post long video & audio
– Half as many ads

Users who pay-up will be able to post longer videos and audio clips, Musk said. As well as an ability to bypass paywall with certain publishers.
And paywall bypass for publishers willing to work with us
