You can now print emoji in Google Workspace spreadsheets, should you ever want to

Thanks to a new update to the service, Google Workspace users will soon be able to enjoy their emoji-filled spreadsheets in physical form.

The company has revealed that it will enable offline printing for those Google Sheets users working on a document with offline access.

To ensure you take full advantage of the spreadsheet software service, Google Workspace has also included emojis and system fonts in offline printing for the first time.

In a Google Workspace update blog post Announcing the news, the company notes that the feature is only available to people using the Google Chrome browser for now.

Users can print their spreadsheet by navigating to File > Printor save it to Google Drive as before.

The company has been slowly introducing emojis throughout the Google Workspace ecosystem as it looks to make using the platform more fun and customizable for users everywhere.

Recently, a new update to Google Docs has allowed users to search and insert emojis directly inline with the text. Now users just need to type in “@” followed by the term, emotion, object, or whatever they need to open a pop-up menu of emojis.

The company’s Google Chat service also recently announced that users can create and use their own custom emojis for use in your personal and business conversations.

Users can create custom emojis in the web versions of Chat or Gmail by going to the ‘Create’ button in the emoji picker. There they can upload an image of their choice and give it a descriptive name, then use the custom emoji when sending or responding to messages in Chat.
