Diane Kruger impresses in dazzling backless dress at the 19th Marrakech International Film Festival

Diane Kruger dressed to impress as she attended the second day of the 19th Marrakech International Film Festival in Morocco on Saturday.

The actress, 46, looked nothing short of sensational in a dazzling black backless dress that showcased her incredible figure.

The striking high-necked garment featured beading and mirror detailing throughout and a large slit at the back revealing a towering pair of black heels.

She carried her belongings in a stylish black velvet clutch and added to her look by pairing them with a pair of silver earrings with teardrop crosses.

Diane styled her long blonde locks in a chic updo with a center parting and opted for a radiant bronzed makeup palette.

The German-American actress took a number of poses on the red carpet for onlookers to see her outfit in full.

The star recently dove into the publishing industry, writing her first-ever children’s book titled A Name From The Sky, which was released last month.

During an interview with Yahoo Life, Diana talked about the inspiration behind writing the book.

She explained that her mother from Germany had visited sunny Los Angeles during the Covid lockdown and spent time with Diane and her four-year-old daughter Nova.

“We talked about the moment when my life really changed in a very important way: when she told me about the meaning of my name,” the actress said.

The beauty expressed that her name, Diane, was rather strange to have when she was growing up in Germany, and that it was even laughed at. However, her mother had explained that her name came from a Roman goddess.

When she recently visited the Today show to promote her touching children’s book, Diane explained that the novel was also for her own daughter, who she shares with current beau, Norman Reedus.

“When I became a mother…I felt this responsibility and this great opportunity to give her joy and hope in life,” the talented star declared.

The award-winning actress further explained to Yahoo that she had believed for some time that she would not become a mother. “I just didn’t think it would be for me.

“I mean, I would have loved to have a child, but I thought I was too old, to be honest, and I was in a fairly new relationship, so we were definitely not trying to have a baby,” she added, in reference to dating Norman.

The National Treasure alum concluded that Nova has been “the greatest blessing in our lives.”
