Borussia Dortmund are looking to sit down for crunch talks with English midfielder Jude Bellingham, but will wait until after the impeding World Cup to do so.
Bellingham was chosen as part of Gareth Southgate’s 26-man England squad en route to Qatar and will arrive in the Middle East as one of Europe’s hottest prospects.
The 19-year-old has shone for the Bundesliga giants since moving to the club in 2020, becoming Dortmund’s youngest ever goalscorer at the time.

Bellingham’s contract runs for three years, but the Birmingham-born teenager is widely expected to leave Signal Iduna Park in the summer for a huge fee.
Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has admitted he would love to see Bellingham at the club, but revealed they will have to succumb to big offers for what he labeled as the ‘greatest talents in European football’:

“I think once Qatar is over, we’ll have a basic conversation about what he actually wants,” Watzke said. BILD.
‘With him, with his parents, with whom we have a very close relationship and of course with his advisor.
“And then he just has to tell us if he wants to stay or if he wants to go. Anyway, we will discuss it pleasantly and reasonably.
‘But we don’t have to pretend that the subject isn’t on the table. When the really big ones are out there, we can’t afford to fight financially either.
