Eastern Kentucky scored a stunning 62-61 win over Georgia State in a NCAA basketball heartstopper following a half-court buzzer beater.
Guard Cooper Robb gave the Colonels a come-from-behind victory with a long-range bucket as time expired.
Georgia State lost its first game of the Capitol Classic series despite leading 61-59 in the final seconds.
Georgia State had a chance to kill the game with a rebound from Dwon Odom’s missed FT
With 5.4 seconds remaining, Dwon Odom was shooting from the free-throw line before his shot hit the rim and bounced back.
Robb grabbed the rebound on a second effort before turning up field with just 3.3 seconds left in the ball game.
The six-foot-one senior faced little opposition as dribbled three times before pulling up to shoot with 1.0 second remaining.
His effort from behind the Georgia State logo was somewhat contested, albeit half-heartedly.
