Amy Sheppard has revealed how cutting back on alcohol has helped her live her best life.
The 32-year-old pop singer admitted there’s some pressure in the music industry to drink, but she’s feeling much better since cutting back on alcohol.
“I was less tired and didn’t get sick…I just felt generally happy and wasn’t in a bad mood.” she said the daily telegraph.

The Geronimo hitmaker added that contracting covid earlier this year led her to self-reflect on the state of her health.
Amy realized that she needed to be on top of her game to go on tour and that meant cutting back on alcoholic beverages significantly.
“You can get excited and drink drink after drink and not realize how much you’re drinking. I set myself limits of two or four,” she said.
The pop singer admitted there’s some pressure in the music industry to drink, but she’s feeling much better since cutting back on alcohol.
It comes after Amy campaigned for body positivity by joining forces with Body Image Movement’s Taryn Brumfitt for her latest film, Embrace: Kids.
She said it was “really important” to join the campaign because she was taught growing up that you had to look a certain way to be dignified.
Speaking to the Herald Sun, she added: “It took me a long time to figure it out and really start to feel my worth in who I am as a person rather than just how I look.”
“I felt happy overall and I wasn’t in a bad mood. I was less tired and didn’t get sick,’ she said.
Sheppard will talk about her “lightbulb moment,” which was the decision to post an unfiltered bikini photo on Instagram.
Amy is outspoken about body positivity and recently hit back at trolls after being told her cellulite is “not normal” and “shouldn’t normalize.”
He has shared several examples of offensive comments he received on TikTok along with the sound bite: ‘Am I going to cry? I’m about to cry? Not well.
