Vice President Kamala Harris said Tuesday that she will be on the 2024 ticket if President Joe Biden decides to run for re-election.
‘As the president said, he intends to run. And if he does, I’ll run with him,’ he told reporters on his trip to the Philippines.
Harris declined to answer questions about former President Donald Trump’s announcement last Tuesday that he would seek the White House again in 2024.
“I’m thinking right now about what we need to do in the Indo-Pacific,” he replied when asked about Trump.

Biden will head to Nantucket later Tuesday for the Thanksgiving holiday, where he previously suggested he would have a family discussion over whether to mount a re-election run.
“I’m thinking right now about what we should do in the Indo-Pacific,” he replied when asked if Trump’s presidential run was “good for the country.” “Thanks for the question,” he added.
Harris was also asked if he thought the Democratic ticket could beat Trump a second time, a question he ignored.
She touted the Biden administration’s record, telling reporters, “I have no doubts about the strength of the work we’ve done over the past two years.”
“We have provided unprecedented relief to the American people during the pandemic,” he said. “We have approved an infrastructure law that many are talking about, in fact we did it.”
Trump regularly scheduled an “infrastructure week” at the White House, but it became a running joke because it often coincided with some shocking revelation.
Harris also praised the passage of the Reduce Inflation Act, which includes prescription drugs and climate initiatives, and which Democrats managed to pass the Senate in August before the midterm elections.
During the same group, which took place before she and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff boarded Air Force Two en route to Los Angeles, she made no commitment to campaign again for Georgia Sen. Raphael Warnock.
“I haven’t made any decision yet… I’m basically still trying to figure out what I’m going to do tomorrow,” he said.
Former President Barack Obama plans to bet on Warnock on December 1, as the Georgia Democrat again has to run in a runoff.
Neither Warnock nor Trump-backed Republican Herschel Walker passed the 50 percent plus one threshold in the November election to win the Senate seat, so they will face each other again on the ballot next month.
