She married the only son of the Mayor of Amschel, James Rothschild, joining one of the richest families in the world, on July 10, 2015 in a lavish ceremony at The Orangery in Kensington Palace Gardens in London.
The couple met four years earlier at a wedding in Rome, after the reception for British heiress Petra Ecclestone and her now-ex-husband James Stunt.
‘we didn’t meet [until] after the reception during the cocktail hour,” Nicky said in an interview with W.
‘I was standing there with my sister, talking to a guy who was chatting about Paris. Y [James] He came over and introduced himself. And I was like, “He’s cute too.”

‘And then we didn’t see each other [until] after dinner I was living in Los Angeles at the time; I was in London. So it was LA-London long distance for a year.
The couple share two daughters, Lily-Grace, six, and Theodora ‘Teddy’, four, and a son born in July, whose name they have not yet revealed.
On July 5, Hilton Rothschild posted a black and white silhouette photo of herself and her husband on Instagram to announce an addition to their growing family.
‘We are officially a group of 5!’ she wrote. ‘Welcome to the world sweet child. Mom, dad, and big sisters couldn’t be more in love.
