A sexual predator who was jailed today for a minimum of 38 years for the brutal murder of law degree Zara Aleena, attacked four other women on the same night.
Jordan McSweeney, 29, pleaded guilty to the murder and sexual assault of the 35-year-old man last month and was sentenced today at the Old Bailey.
However, he refused to leave the cells for his sentencing because he did not want to see what he did on security cameras.
Some of the security footage obtained by the Metropolitan Police shows McSweeney following a potential victim who had to run for his life.
CCTV also captured the 29-year-old man targeting another woman who was helped by two passing men.
The afternoon after the attack, McSweeney was seen walking through a fairgrounds wearing the same vest and carrying a bag.

He followed a woman who tried to hide in a local store and then followed her after she left.
The killer chased a woman but lost her, shortly before she attacked Mrs. Aleena.

The afternoon after the attack, McSweeney was seen at a fair wearing the same clothing and holding a bag.
Jordan McSweeney ambushed Zara Aleena and hit her on the back of the head before dragging the 35-year-old into a driveway and kicking her as she lay on the ground.
Zara Aleena (pictured), 35, who had recently started working at the Royal Courts of Justice, died after she was ambushed while walking home in the early hours of the morning. She was punched in the back of her head and then strangled.
McSweeney was banned from the Great Spoon of Ilford Wetherspoons pub on June 25, just after 11pm, for harassing a member of the bar staff.
CCTV footage showed him greeting women outside the pub, hugging them without consent and attempting to kiss them.
Prosecutor Oliver Glasgow KC said: “Despite her making it clear she wasn’t interested, he kept coming back to the bar and kept pestering her.”
After leaving the pub, he was seen following a woman, who realized she was being followed and then went into a convenience store to avoid McSweeney.
The court heard that he waited outside for a while before going into the store, where he hid behind a display of vegetables until she left.
McSweeney followed the woman and gave chase as she ran down a side street to get away from him, but lost her.
“That young lady had a very lucky escape as if she had been caught by Jordan McSweeney she would have been attacked and killed,” Mr Glasgow said.
McSweeney’s next target was a woman at the Samiz Chicken Shop on Romford Road: security cameras show him reaching into his trousers and looking at her.
He began to follow her after leaving the store with his takeout until he was distracted by another woman, who he spoke to briefly and put his hand between her legs before she walked away.
McSweeney began following another woman who realized she was in danger and was then fortunately able to enter a property on the street.
Two passing men had seen the scene unfold, McSweeney following a woman, and they stopped and stared, potentially saving the woman.
McSweeney then hung around Cranbrook Road for the next 50 minutes. He followed another woman, who had to run into a house on the street.
He saw Ms. Aleena just after 2 am, stopped as she passed, and turned to follow her.
Mr Glasgow said: “Jordan McSweeney waited for his chance to attack and as soon as he thought no one was looking, that’s exactly what he did.”
McSweeney attempted to follow several women on June 26 before murdering Zara Aleena.
At 2:15 am, he grabbed her by the neck from behind and covered her mouth with his other hand.
He then dragged her to the driveway at 286 Cranbrook Road and threw her to the ground.
Mr Glasgow said: “She did her best to fight him off but she had no idea he was after her and she must have been terrified when the bigger and stronger Jordan McSweeney dragged her into the darkness and out out of sight of any potential saviors.” .’
After a struggle, he was knocked unconscious. On security cameras she can be seen taking off some of her clothing and getting between her spread legs.
Mr Glasgow said: ‘Jordan McSweeney stands up and starts stomping on Zara Aleena’s body with a force that is almost unimaginable.
“Indeed, if it weren’t for the indistinct CCTV footage, it would be hard to believe that someone could treat another human being in such a violent and shocking way.”
“Initially satisfied, he leaves his broken body, appears to move towards his clothes, and then walks out of the driveway of 286 Cranbrook Road with something in his hands.”
He returned in a few moments and continued to stomp on her body, steadiness against a concrete railing.
Mr Glasgow said: “As before, Jordan McSweeney emerges from the driveway, turns left, walks a few yards, stops, stops, turns and walks back to where Zara Aleena’s body lies.”
“Once back next to her body, Jordan McSweeney crouches down and appears to be looking for something or doing something to Zara Aleena.
“Then he stomps on her for one final, completely gratuitous time before walking away without stopping to think about what he just did.”
