A mother has been found dead after a neighbor called the police when the woman’s daughter asked for help, saying she had been locked outside for six hours.
Police found the woman in her 30s unresponsive after conducting a welfare check at a home on Pierro Place in Logan Reserve, south of Brisbane, at 4:45 p.m. Saturday.
A neighbor, who wished to remain anonymous, said she called police after the woman’s daughter came to ask for help.

She said the daughter was in her pajamas and had been locked out of the house for the past six hours because she said she was “worried about her mother.”
“She hadn’t seen her all day and said her mom’s friend had gone to the servo and would be back by then,” the neighbor told Courier Mail.
She couldn’t go back into her house. I was her friend. I was worried about her.’
The daughter explained to the neighbor that her mother’s partner locked her outside the house when he left in the morning.
The neighbor said the mother became “really closed off” after getting engaged to her partner.
Residents on the street had also complained that they heard the couple arguing in their home.
The neighbor said she was heartbroken at the loss of her boyfriend and said she was devastated that she would never be able to talk to her again.
