While we don’t get to hit restart on the madness enveloping the world these days, when the clock strikes midnight at the end of this year we’ll at least get to start a new year afresh. With that new year, we can think about where exactly we want to travel. Do we want to finally go somewhere warm that will recharge our batteries? Plop ourselves down for a couple months and really sink into a culture? Or, are you the type of traveler who is determined to escape overtourism by going somewhere few other tourists are going?
