Argentina star Angel Di Maria returns to Juventus with a giant World Cup tattoo after scoring in the final against France.
Di Maria continued his scoring streak in Argentina’s finals, having also scored the winning goal against Brazil in the Copa America last year, before scoring again in his team’s 3-0 win against Italy in the UEFA Cup of Champions in June.
The 34-year-old won the penalty for Argentina’s first goal and then scored himself as he completed a stunning team action to double his side’s lead before the break.

The winger had to sit out Argentina’s wins against Australia and Croatia, only coming on as a late substitute in their quarter-final victory against the Netherlands.
But luckily he was able to return to the biggest stages – and after playing such a vital role in the victory – he has documented his success by getting colored.
Footage has emerged of the Argentine getting a large tattoo of the iconic World Cup trophy on his thigh.
There also appear to be three stars above the trophy, likely representing Argentina’s World Cup triumphs in 1978, 1986 and 2022.

Di Maria was away with the Argentina team to celebrate and visited his favorite tattoo artist to add to his collection.
Earlier this week, Di Maria’s wife, Jorgelina Cardoso, posted WhatsApp messages to social media from her husband in which he correctly predicted that Argentina would beat France and he would score in the World Cup final.
“I will become world champion, my dear. It is written. And I score a goal. Because it is written like in Maracanã and Wembley’, Di Maria wrote on the eve of the final.
Di Maria – who was born in Rosario like his captain Messi – has made 129 caps for his country since making his debut in 2008.
Although the gifted footballer has moved clubs, most notably from Real Madrid to Manchester United to PSG to Juventus, he has been a mainstay in the Argentina squad for nearly 15 years.
He moved to Juventus as a free agent in the summer after spending the past seven years at PSG, where he won 14 major trophies, including five Ligue 1 titles.
