President Biden appeared to have lost his ball on a round of golf while vacationing in the US Virgin Islands, where he and his family bask in balmy 81F temperatures and endless sunshine.
The accident happened Friday while the 80-year-old president — sportingly dressed in a white polo shirt, blue shorts and cap — was golfing on the 18-hole course at the ultra-luxurious Buccaneer Beach and Golf Resort in Christiansted, St. Crotch.
The octogenarian was pictured with his 16-year-old grandson, Robert, who is referred to as ‘Hunter’ by some relatives.
Two Secret Service agents rushed to help the country’s leader find his prom in some nearby bushes, as critics question whether Biden is mentally fit to run in the next presidential election.

Biden – who spent Christmas at the White House – has spent time with family during an extended vacation in St. Croix at the 17th-century tropical estate that has plenty to keep him busy, including tennis, three beaches, two freshwater pools, and restaurants galore on the 340-acre property.
The president is not supposed to return to the White House before January 2.
Some of the hotel’s guests were apparently amused by the presidential sighting and snapped some photos.
After the not entirely successful golf game, Biden took his entire brood to dinner at one of the best restaurants on the island, called Savant, in downtown Christiansted.
The president dined with his wife and First Lady Jill Biden, and his grandchildren Hunter, 16, and Natalie, 18, from his late son, Beau Biden. His daughter Ashley and her husband Howard Kerin also vacationed on the island.
When asked by some reporters at the restaurant about the upcoming 2024 presidential election, Biden joked, “There’s an election coming up?” He went on to say that “2023 is going to be a good year.”
While no official decision has been made, Biden has previously said he plans to seek re-election in 2024.

The island of St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands has been one of the Bidens’ favorite vacation spots, a place he traveled to when he was vice president under former President Barack Obama, Caribbean magazine rreported.
But this is his first trip as president to the US territory.
The Bidens are staying in the St. Croix home of billionaire Democratic donors Bill and Connie Neville, according to the White House. The Bidens do not pay rent but reside as “guests” at the home on Solitude Bay, a private community with its own beach. Homes there can sell for around $3 million, according to real estate websites.

While he was gone, the president was still working on his agenda.
On Thursday, Biden donned a suit and tie to sign into law the 4,000-page, $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill, which will fund the government through September 2023.
The bill had to be flown commercially from Washington to Biden.
It’s not the first time a piece of legislation has been commercially flown to the president’s location.
In May, a US $40 billion aid package for Ukraine was sent with a staffer on a commercial flight to South Korea when Biden was in Seoul for meetings with Asian leaders.
On Friday night, the President and the First Lady taped an interview — as 2022 draws to a close — which will air Saturday night on ABC’s “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest.”
