<p>Nichols arrived at the hospital in critical condition and died three days later.</p>
<p>EMTs Robert Long and JaMichael Sandridge were terminated for failing to conduct a proper assessment, while Lt. Michelle Whitaker was fired for violating policy by staying in the vehicle.</p>
<p>Earlier on Monday, a <a href="https://breaking911.com/6th-memphis-officer-relieved-of-duty-in-tyre-nichols-arrest/">sixth Memphis police officer was fired</a> for his conduct during the arrest.</p>
