Delta Goodrem feels impressed as she joins the teen idols of the 90s as the Backstreet Boys on the North American leg of their DNA World Tour.
The Australian singer, 37, told Us Weekly Monday it was an ‘honour’ to be the support act for the I Want It That Way hitmakers.
But the Innocent Eyes star said the arrival of Australia, which is mid-winter, to a scorching American summer, had come as a shock to the system.

“When you’re packing in Australia in the winter and you come to America, you think, ‘Oh, it won’t be that hot’ — I’m slowly melting,” she joked.
She said the tour schedule — about five shows a week from April to September — was demanding, but she had developed coping strategies.
“I’m working hard to make sure we all stay very happy and stay true to the course,” she said.

The former Neighbors star said she was thrilled to have the chance to support the Backstreet Boys, of whom she is a huge fan.
‘I’m a Backstreet Boys girl too! The guys are incredible, and they’re just phenomenal on stage,” she gushed.
