Floyd Mayweather has announced his plans to retire later this year to take part in three box-office fights that could net him at least £168 million.
Mayweather hasn’t set foot in a ring since he expanded his undefeated record to 50 fights by beating Conor McGregor in 2017.
The 45-year-old has taken part in exhibitions since his retirement, but has now indicated that he would like to return to the ring in a professional capacity.

However, the American boxer has stated that he will not accept less £168 million to get out of retirement.
Speak with FightingHypeMayweather said, “I’ve got three more shows this year, maybe one fight and two more shows.
“But guess what, you better know it’s at the very least and this is the lowest. I’m talking $200 million.”
Mayweather took part in 50 fights during his career and won them all. As a result, he is considered one of the greatest boxers ever – he has won 15 major world titles.

Mayweather officially hung up his gloves in 2017 after beating UFC star McGregor in his final professional signing.
The 45-year-old revealed his desire to follow in his uncle Roger’s footsteps and become a trainer.
However, he returned to the ring to defeat featherweight kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in the first round, just a year after his retirement.
Mayweather then took on YouTube star Logan Paul in an exhibition match last June, but no winner was announced.
The American boxer then led a jabbing masterclass as he gave opponent Don Moore a scorching eight rounds in their fight in Abu Dhabi.

Mayweather has since revealed that he has three more fights in the pipeline. One could be against MMA star Mikuru Asakura.
FightHype has also revealed that Mayweather is discussing a possible rematch with McGregor.
Mayweather’s win against The Notorious turned out to be his last pro fight ever, taking his record to 50 wins and zero losses or draws.
It’s uncertain whether a rematch between the pair would be another exhibition game, or whether Mayweather would turn it into another professional fight.
From their original fight, Mayweather reportedly earned a huge purse worth about $280 million, with McGregor receiving $130 million.
The fight was McGregor’s first and only boxing fight. In addition, he has not fought since he broke his leg last July.
