Federico Quadrani, a 10-year veteran of the network and executive producer for Jake Tapper, was fired last week after details of a workplace affair came to light.
Quadrani was about to be cleared by Human Resources in a separate investigation, when undeniable evidence of an affair emerged and he was taken to Tapper.
The firing came a year after Jeff Zucker was ousted over a relationship with CNN’s top executive, Allison Gollust.
