The teenager enjoyed a breakthrough last season, making 32 appearances in all competitions for Carlos Corberan’s Huddersfield side, who narrowly missed promotion to the Premier League and lost 1-0 in the championship play-off final.
But Chelsea are considering a sale, given the potential arrival of Nathan Ake and Kalidou Koulibaly, possibly for around £75million, to replace outgoing Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.
Blues boss Thomas Tuchel may even want to sign another centre-back like those two – with also interest in Paris Saint-Germain’s Presnel Kimpembe – to push Colwill further down the pecking order.

Palace is reportedly among the frontrunners to sign Colwill, while Patrick Vieira continues to assemble a squad of exciting young players at Selhurst Park.
