NNA – Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, on Tuesday welcomed former PM Fouad Siniora, in the presence of former Kuwaiti Ambassador to Lebanon, Abdel-Al Al-Qenaei.
Talks reportedly focused on the current situation in Lebanon and the region.
According to statement issued by Siniora’s press office, “The Kuwaiti official stressed the Kuwaiti state’s keenness to help Lebanon overcome the prevailing crises as per the Kuwaiti initiative.”
For his part, Siniora stressed the pressing need to support Lebanon during this difficult period and to help it overcome this rough phase — in preparation for the country’s return to a normal life.
