The Lionesses of England have been praised for their stylish football in Euro 2022, but it’s BBC tournament host Gabby Logan’s designer wardrobe that scores with fashion-conscious viewers.
Her penchant for flared pants fronting the coverage has sparked a flurry of reactions on social media, with a striking yellow pair proving to be a particular hit of the six she’s modeled so far.
The Mail on Sunday can reveal that the 49-year-old broadcaster’s fashion favorites include items from upscale designers Stella McCartney and Victoria Beckham, as well as items from the retail chain Reiss.
The star, one of the BBC’s most popular sports presenters, sought additions to her tournament wardrobe with her stylist shortly before the opening match and paid for them all out of pocket.

Gabby Logan has also recycled previous outfits from her wardrobe for this year’s Women’s Euros
The striking yellow flares, which she wore with a matching jacket for England’s 8-0 win over Norway, belong to Mrs McCartney and cost £1,800 from London department store Harvey Nichols.
The outfit, Gabby says, is an “investment purchase” that she can also use for future broadcast jobs. So it will be a relief that it has proved so popular with viewers. One posted on social media, “That was a great pair of pants you wore.”
The star, one of the BBC’s most popular sports presenters, searched for additions to her tournament wardrobe with her stylist shortly before the opening match.
Another fan joked that the flares could have been worn by a group that won the 1976 Eurovision Song Contest. “Gabby Logan’s pants are so flared she wouldn’t look out of place in Brotherhood of Man,” they wrote.
Gabby has also carried two pairs of plaid torches for £195 from London-based brand ME + EM and two from Sandro, priced at £240, in purple and pink.
She wore the pink for England’s 5-0 win over Northern Ireland on Friday, along with another yellow blazer – a £399 number from Maje – a sleeveless blouse from Jigsaw and a pair of Russell & Bromley heels. For Norway’s clash with Northern Ireland earlier this month, she opted for a £450 jersey from Mrs Beckham.
But last Tuesday, Gabby decided to forgo her recent purchases. Since it was too hot for pants, she relied on an old favorite, a Greek-style dress she bought from Reiss years ago.
Her stylist Charlotte Handley Green said that at the last minute, Gabby decided to dig into her wardrobe to find something cooler she could recycle.
“We had a Facetime call because Gabby hadn’t been able to wear what we planned to,” she told The Mail on Sunday. “She found the beautiful dress which is quite a few years old. She adjusted it, but it was a little low-cut, so we put a cami underneath it.’
Ms. Handley Green said she decided to pair it with a belt Gabby wore for the Sports Personality of the Year show by Roksana, one of Kate Middleton’s favorite designers.
The presenter also regularly re-wears Gucci block-heeled shoes she bought two years ago, as well as old favorites from Gianvito Rossi.
The fashion choices of Gabby’s presenting colleagues have also impressed, with former England player Fara Williams receiving much admiration for her colorful trouser suits.
