NNA – Caretaker Minister of Information, Ziad Makary, met, at his ministry office on Tuesday, the Director of the Health Ministry’s National Mental Health Program, Rabih Chamai, and Chairwoman of Embrace Organization, Mia Atoui.
Talks touched on the role of media in raising awareness and prevention against suicide, and the means to ensure a responsible coverage of news related to suicide.
Conferees also discussed the possibility to hold a meeting for the Ministries of Health and Information with the media means for further deliberation on this matter.
