Antonio Conte’s former Juventus and Italy teammate Christian Vieri has been scouting for the recently dismissed Tottenham boss due to his “intense” and “demanding” personality.
Conte was relieved of his duties as Tottenham manager on Sunday night after he launched his infamous verbal attack on his players after the 3-3 draw with Southampton.
Following this news, Vieri told the press in Italy that he was not surprised that his former team-mate had left Tottenham and claimed that the Italian coach was “used to clashing with everyone”.
“Antonio is used to clashing with everyone, it’s his personality,” Vieri told Italian media. Corriere della Sera Tuesday.
