Pete Evans embraced his off-the-grid style on Wednesday when he stepped out in Sydney’s eastern suburbs in camouflage pants and an army green T-shirt.
Celebrity celebrity chef and conspiracy theorist, 50, channeled his inner doomsday preparation as he walked down Bondi Street wearing wedged leather boots, military-style sunglasses and a hiking backpack.
A wisp of Evans’ mullet mohawk protruded from under his gray baseball cap, which featured his trademark Evolve wellness logo.
Looking worlds away from his days as a clean-cut TV star, the My Kitchen Rules host completed his look with a sloppy salt-and-pepper beard.

Evans, who divides his time between his homes in Bondi and Byron Bay, has completely disappeared in recent years after a series of controversy stemming from his belief in bogus conspiracy theories.
In May 2020 it was announced that Evans had parted ways with Channel 7 after ten years as a judge at MKR alongside Manu Feldel.
It marked his break with the mainstream after years of flirting with off-the-wall ideas during his tenure at the network.
The celebrity chef, 50, channeled his inner profession for doomsday as he walked down Bondi Street in crinkly leather boots, military-style sunglasses and a hiking backpack.

Now outside the contractual constraints of major network TV, Evans has begun making wild claims about vaccines and Covid-19 on social media.
Evans was fired from Facebook for sharing false information in December 2020.
His Instagram page was also taken down in February 2021, with the social media platform owned by Meta issuing a statement that read: ‘We don’t allow anyone to share false information about Covid-19 that could lead to imminent bodily harm or about Covid-19 vaccines debunked by experts’ Public Health.

Evans and his wife Nicola regularly run sanctuaries at the $1 million center near Byron Bay in northern New South Wales that he bought in 2021.
