Ashleigh Sims suffered a surprise defeat on Wednesday night when the NRL WAG was brutally knocked out by Jessica Adams in Sydney.
Fresh off an impressive debut earlier this year, Sims started her second professional fight as a bookie favorite against her bigger rival, ahead of Nikita Tszyu v Ben Horn.
However, the five-lap contest ended in the opening two minutes, with Adams landing a massive right hook that staggered the wife of NRL star Tariq Sims, before the underdog launched the kill with a flurry of punches that startled Sims.

The referee quickly intervened to wave the match off and an excited Adams celebrated her shocking victory while Sims received medical attention.
Main Event’s Ben Damon described the result as “one of the great women’s boxing feats we’ve ever seen in Australia.”
“I just dedicated my life to boxing, it’s all I do,” Adams told Fox Sports after the fight.
“I’ve had a few small fights with the same opponent.
Sims is the wife of NRL and St. George star Tariq and has sought a career in sweet science
“Just to raise my hand like that, on a big platform, I can’t think of anything better.
My coach said, ‘be patient, don’t chase her, wait for her to come in. Take her apart.’
“When she tripped and she started going back, ‘be patient, move forward, place with your jab and then start fighting from there.’
