Convicted drug trafficker Cassie Sainsbury, also known as “Cocaine Cassie”, has revealed that she has been abandoned by her friends since returning home to Australia.
Sainsbury, 28, was caught in April 2017 trying to smuggle 5.8kg of cocaine from Colombia hidden in headphones and was jailed for three years.
She returned to her hometown of Adelaide in August for the first time in five years, bringing his new wife, Tatiana, with her.
The duo got married a year ago after meeting at a Colombian nightclub.
Sainsbury said she has been trying to get her “life together” but is facing a number of challenges.

“We’ve had ups and downs, it’s not an easy time to get a job, and a lot of stress comes from moving countries,” she said.
