Australian music legends AC/DC are getting ready to rock again.
The famous band will headline the Power Trip heavy rock festival in California this October.
AC/DC shares the bill with other veteran, chart-topping rock stars at the three-day festival, including Guns N’ Roses, Ozzy Osbourne, and Metallica. It will be their first live show in seven years.
Meanwhile, rumors suggest that much-loved band frontman Brian Johnson, 75, may be back on the mic for the high-profile gig.
The lead singer pulled out of the band’s short North American tour in 2016, mid-tour, after his hearing problems became unbearable.

He was temporarily replaced by Guns N’ Roses vocalist Axl Rose, who served as vocalist for the band’s remaining concerts.
AC/DC’s current line-up formed in Sydney in 1973, and consists of Johnson, 68-year-old guitarist Angus Young, Stevie Young, his nephew, on rhythm guitar, Phil Rudd on drums and bassist Cliff Williams.
Brothers Malcolm and Angus Young started the band and quickly rose to fame with lead singer Bon Scott.

The band spawned a string of hits including The Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock Rock), Highway to Hell, and Dirty Deeds (Done Dirt Cheap).
After Scott died from acute alcohol poisoning at the age of 33 in 1980, British-born Brian Johnson was appointed to take his place.
Rhythm guitarist Malcolm was diagnosed with dementia in 2014 and retired to a nursing home in Sydney. He passed away on November 18, 2017, at the age of 64.
Johnson sang lead vocals on the band’s 2020 album Power Up.
