I’m a Celebrity viewers were left baffled by “A-list” contestants

I’m a celebrity…get me out of here! Australia left viewers unimpressed after revealing its ‘A-list’ cast on Sunday night.

Among the stars of Fight in the Jungle are veteran presenter Kerry Ann Kennerley, Australian judge Ian Dicko-Dixon, MAFS star Dominica Calarco and actress Debra Lawrence.

But the lineup left many scratching their heads, with some viewers baffled by any of the cast.

‘who are these people??’ one confused person questioned on Twitter while another said, “Yeah, I have no idea who you are.”

I’m sorry but I have no idea about these people. Except for Deco. Who could have predicted that Kyle would have to return to the idol, said another one.

Another person said, “I have to love how all these ‘famous’ people have to explain who they are to each other.”

Dear @Channel10AU why didn’t you get some real celebrity. I don’t know who these people are,” another tweeted.

“I gotta be honest, they might as well just throw a bunch of anonymous slums into the woods instead because most of these people are,” someone wrote.

There was some confusion among the celebrities themselves when they met Debra Lawrence, who is best known for her role as Pippa Ross on Home and Away.

“How does any of these people not know who Debra Lawrence is when she’s the only person I actually know?!?!?” someone wrote.

“How do these people (especially Deco) not know who Debra Lawrence is?????” another asked.

Also appearing in the 2023 season are radio host Woody Whitelaw, TV presenter Bianca Hunt, and celebrity chef Anna Polivio.

Nathan Henry, best known for his appearance on the British reality series Geordie Shore, has also joined the new Australian season.
