NNA – Kataeb party leader, MP Sami Gemayel, met on Monday in Saifi with Qatari envoy, State Minister at the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdul Aziz Al Khulaifi, and the accompanying delegation.
Talks touched on the latest developments in Lebanon and the broader region, in addition to the Lebanese presidential file.
“The meeting stressed the necessity to elect a president for Lebanon as soon as possible, who is capable of addressing all political, economic and financial files, and restoring Lebanon’s ties with its friends in the Arab world and worldwide,” statement by Kataeb read.
