Helen Skelton spoke about the challenges she faces as a single mom just three hours before announcing the arrival of ex-husband Richie Miller.
The presenter, 39, was headlining the Kinder Masters of Play festival, which holds workshops for parents and children over the Easter break at KidZania, on Sunday.
She said: “Being a mother of three, I know how hard it can be to keep your kids entertained, especially during the school holidays.
But what I tell myself is that we all do our best! I’m lucky my kids play so well together, but it can be overwhelming work.

While she also took to her “stories” to commend the little one for her “courage” earlier in the day.
“On International Women’s Day, it feels right to acknowledge the very brave 1-year-old (14-month-old) who joins the big kids in the circus…a little lady who can’t wait to see you take on the world.
“Here are the girls who are blessed and the big brothers who stand by.”
Only days have come after Richie He posted a celebratory post of his own with his then-pregnant girlfriend.
Meanwhile, Helen looked effortlessly chic as she left Headingley Stadium in Leeds on Saturday as she hosted a local rugby match for Channel 4.
The TV personality appeared to be in good spirits when she played Leeds Rhino at home – the same team her ex-husband Richie plays for.
The Countryfile presenter also posed with co-presenter Adam Hill and was caught chatting to some rugby fans.
Richie’s pregnant girlfriend Stephanie is also present.

The outing comes after Helen shared a candid post about the realities of being a single mom over the weekend while celebrating Mother’s Day.

But also staying true to the matter, she posted a photo of her youngest son, Louis, crouching in a ball on the floor and crying as she wrote that this is “the reality.”
Helen joked that she was “ruining” his life, revealing that the breakdown was along the way she tied his shoelaces.
Helen posted a monochrome family photo to her 468k followers, writing: ‘Happy Mother’s Day. No words needed. ’.
But at the same time, she decided to give a glimpse into everyday life as a mother of three through her stories.
She shared a photo of little Louis squatting at a ball, and wrote: “Reality…..when you’re ‘ruining their lives’ because of the way they tie you with lace.
“Every bit of adventure we call parenting,” she jokes.
Helen has been struggling with work and being a mother since the breakdown of her eight-year marriage to ex-Ritchie in 2022, just months after the birth of their daughter, Elsie.
While her ex-husband has welcomed another child, it looks like Helen might be moving on too — after reports circulated this week that she’s been “going on casual dates” with strictly professional Vito Coppola.

Parents: Richie and Stephanie love to post pictures together on social media
According to reports, the couple “hooked up” while traveling on the intercity tour bus.
A source told Mirror: Helen and Vito were best friends during Strictly, but really bonded on the tour.
There were two buses for the actors – the party bus and the quiet bus.
They spent a lot of time chatting in the quiet bus and getting to know each other. They have a lot in common — a love of the outdoors, for example.
In between shows, they also spent one-on-one time together, like having coffee, just the two of them.
Then, if the whole group goes to dinner, they’ll sit together, deep in conversation.
