A day after the judge’s ruling, the Bessemer Trust, which was introduced, resigned, saying they were never aware that Britney wanted the conservatorship to end.
“We heard her and we respect her wishes,” the company’s lawyers said in the court filing.
July 5, 2021 – Questioned by Britney’s longtime manager
Larry Rudolph wrote a letter to Jimmy and the conservatorship to say he no longer needed him because Britney wanted to retire.

November 12, 2021 – Judge ends custody of Britney
A Los Angeles judge has ordered an end to the custody that has controlled Britney’s life – and $60 million fortune – for 13 years.
“The court found that guardianship of the person and property of Britney Jean Spears was no longer required,” Judge Brenda Penny said at a hearing in Los Angeles, where Britney did not appear.
“Therefore, as of today, the guardianship is hereby terminated.”
April 11, 2022 – Britney announced that she is expecting
More than four months after the conservatorship ended, Spears — who said she was forced to take birth control because of the guardianship — announced that she was “having a baby” and hinted that she and Asghari were married.
May 14, 2022 – Britney says she lost her baby in a fatal outcome
Spears took to Instagram in a joint message with Asghari to say they lost the baby they were expecting.
In a statement, they said: ‘It is with great sadness that we must announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy.
