NNA – The Litani River National Authority announced, in a statement, that “the Israeli attack, which targeted the Tyre area at dawn today, caused direct damage to the facilities of the Qasimia irrigation project in the Qulaila area, as it hit one of the ferries and part of the Qasimia irrigation canal that irrigate the orchards in the Qulea’a area and beyond.”
It also stated that “the technical teams have started the technical examination in preparation for conducting maintenance to resume the project before the 2023 irrigation season.”
