Hoda Kotb amazes her viewers today with her timeless look

Hoda Kotb wowed viewers with her ageless look after celebrating 25 years on NBC this week with a throwback to her first day on the job.

The Today host, 58, was unaware of the anniversary when her co-stars surprised her with a regards on Thursday Show, including footage of her during her NBC News debut in 1998.

Savannah Guthrie announced on the Today Square, “This is an amazing day in NBC News history because 25 years ago today, Hoda Kotb has been having her first day at NBC.”

“is this real?” Qutb asked, looking around at the crowd.

The journalist, formerly a news anchor in New Orleans, got her start at the network as Correspondent for Dateline NBC and NBC News in April 1998.

Kotb gave Guthrie a big hug before reflecting on the milestone, telling her co-stars that “25 feels good.”

And according to her fans, she also looks good.

Snapshots of the moment of grief It was shared on the Today and Today with Hoda & Jenna Instagram pages, where commenters insisted she hasn’t changed one bit.

“You look the same,” one wrote, while another added, “You haven’t grown up!”

“It’s been fun for 25 years,” Kotb reflected on her time at NBC on the show’s fourth hour, telling co-host Jenna Bush Hager.

“In any relationship you’ve been in,” she said, “whether you’re in a boyfriend, a boyfriend, or even a job, you wonder how you didn’t feel like all those years ago, and I think it’s because it keeps changing.”

Kotb explained that she “worked at Dateline for many years and loved it”, but that she “felt unworthy of the job” when she was first hired.

I remembered that they say, “Change your hair, change your clothes, change this, change that.” “Nothing just felt right to me. It kind of felt like I was putting a circle into a square, trying to fit it,” she recalls.

And though it’s hard to imagine a time when Kotb wasn’t a Today show host, she admitted that she was once considered too “boring” to be on the show.

Kotb noted that the only person who fought for her was TV producer Amy Rosenbloom, who gave her advice to turn her career around.

She explained that when Rosenblum offered her help, she told her, “I want you to be like the person you are in my office, not the boring person you see on TV. Be the person I know.”

Kotb recalled hearing this and wondering if it was true, eventually realizing that she was focusing on the wrong things and not letting her personality shine through.

“I’ve been so busy trying to be right, trying not to mess up, trying to be perfect,” she said. “Whenever I made it through a clip without messing up, I was like, ‘Yeah! ”

And everyone was like, ‘That was a huge bore. But I didn’t realize that imperfections are actually what make something work better.

Kotb also realized that the key to staying with something for many years was to “keep evolving” and “try something new.”

“So you moved from Dateline to this hour, to the earlier hours, and while you’re doing that, you’re working out new muscles,” she said of her development at NBC.
