NNA – Caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, on Tuesday met at the Grand with Caretaker Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Judge Bassam Mawlawi, in the presence of Director General of Personal Status at the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities Brigadier General Elias El Khoury.
Discussions reportedly touched on preparations for the upcoming municipal and mayoral elections.
Caretaker Premier Mikati also received at the Grand Serail the Apostolic Nuncio to Lebanon, Paolo Borgia.
Mikati later met with MPs Amin Cherri and Raed Berro, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Higher Relief Commission, Major General Mohammad Khair.
