Police have confirmed a shooting incident took place on Tuesday at a funeral home in Northeast D.C.
According to authorities, the incident occurred at the Stewart Funeral Home located in the 4400 block of Benning Road NE, just before 12:30 p.m.

Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement and medical personnel discovered that “several people” had sustained gunshot wounds.
As of now, the condition of the victims is unknown.
Officials have not released any additional details about the incident.
