James Marsden exuded confidence as he stepped outside for some fresh air in New York City on Wednesday.

For his leisurely stroll, the 49-year-old Dead to Me star cut a trim figure in a blue short-sleeved button-down with white stripes, dark-washed trousers and white sneakers.

He completed his look with a pair of bad sunglasses, a silver watch and his brown hair that was perfectly tousled.

His latest appearance comes after the recent release of his latest show, Jury Duty, which follows a real person at the center of a fake court case.

In the series, Marsden portrays a hilariously narcissistic version of himself alongside 11 jurors, a judge, bailiff, and 12 false witnesses who give false testimony.

Ronald Gladden, the only non-actor on the show, signed on to the project through a Craigslist ad looking for someone to go through the US legal process.

While promoting his new Amazon Freevee series last week, Marsden recalled a “bizarre experience” when he performed jury duty during an interview with People.

The X-Men star claimed he was left shocked when one of the lawyers involved in an “eviction case” in an LA court told him they “loved all of his work” when they began the proceedings.

“I just served once before and it was a bizarre experience, because it was here in LA, and I walked into the courtroom and there was a wall of portraits of actors who served jury duty before — in a government building!” said the Oklahoma resident.

He continued, “I thought in my mind, ‘Well, if someone recognizes me, then maybe I’d be a distraction.’ Don’t know. I wasn’t really trying to get out of jury duty.’

“One of the lawyers’ opening arguments – in the middle of an opening argument, he turned to me and he said, ‘And I’ve loved everything you’ve done’”

He added that the comment caused him to joke “Judge, I should go,” but then remembered “it was a courthouse with a wall full of headshots, so they’ll love that.”

In January, Marsden revealed his disappointment with Westworld’s cancellation in an interview with Rolling stone.

The actor who played cowboy Teddy on the show, which HBO canceled in November before the makers could wrap up the show with a fifth season.

Not only was the series canceled, but Warner Bros. Discovery announced last month that it would remove the show from its HBO Max streaming service.

“I’d be lying to you if I told you the way we ended Westworld wasn’t a disappointment,” Marsden said in the interview.

“I will never speak of my experiences without gratitude, but it would have been nice to be able to complete the story we wanted to finish.”

He added that he loves his “Westworld family” before adding that he would also go home to watch the show as a fan.

“I fully understand that it’s an expensive show and that big shows need big audiences to earn the cost, I wish it was about more than just financial success,” he said.

The Enchanted actor said he hoped the show would be finished one day.

“Maybe that’s just wishful thinking because I know we had plans to finish it the way we wanted,” he added.

Westworld was reportedly canceled due to the show’s high production costs.

It was reported that season one had a hefty $88 million budget, and that figure grew to $107 million in season two.

The axing came during an “ongoing review of programming” with HBO’s parent company Warner Bros. Discovery.

Westworld had earned a whopping nine Primetime Emmy awards throughout its run, as well as a total of 54 nominations.

It was launched by HBO in 2016 as a prestigious drama with high hopes of becoming another long-running show amid the success of Game of Thrones, and boasted a stellar cast that included Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins.

Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright and Thandiwe Newton were also part of the original cast.
