A body has been found in the search for a woman who went missing while walking her dog.
Ausra Plungiene, 56, from Prestatyn, North Wales, was last seen on Tuesday when she was believed to have gone for a walk with her dog Eyora at around 10.30am but did not return home.
A search of Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) was coordinated after the alarm was raised shortly before 10pm on Tuesday and her car was found in a remote car park in the Rowen area in the early hours of Wednesday, North Wales police said.

On Thursday, members of the mountain rescue team found the body of a woman near Yr Aryg in the Carneddau Mountains, a police spokesman said.
A dog was found alive at the site and Ms Plungiene’s family has been notified, although formal identification has yet to take place, police said.
Chief Inspector Owain Llewelyn said: ‘I would like to thank everyone involved in the search for Ausra, in extremely difficult weather conditions.
“Finally, I would urge Ausra’s family to have some privacy in the coming days.”
