NNA – The official spokesman for the Sudanese army denied to “Russia Today” that the Rapid Support Forces had taken control of the presidential palace in Khartoum.

The spokesman said, “The battles are still ongoing in the strategic areas of the capital, and the Rapid Support Forces did not seize any site,” adding: “Our forces are confronting the Rapid Support Forces and are exercising their duty, and the clashes are still in Marawi.”

He pointed out that the country is currently in a state of war, and in war there are many changes, but the army still controls the sites that the Support announced its control over.
